03/8/2004Benny Maniacs (5): I feel like this is based on my life.
03/8/2004qualcomm: tough for me to grade, since i know this was written in the heat of the moment of tournament play. i shall think on it...
03/9/2004Mr. Pony: True. This short was written and illustrated for the purpose of competing in very first Acme Shorts tournament. However, the stringent time requirements failed to be met, and the short failed to qualify for consideration by the participants. The short, then, is re-presented here for your amusement, safely (and thankfully) away from the ably-executed efforts of my oft-faced competition.
03/22/2004mr.coffee: I like it! Very expressive. The art is in pure symbiosis with the writing. The apocalyptic landscape is drawn in exhausive detail, and the characters really spoke to me.
04/4/2004scoop (4): I will overlook its overt misogyny and, even more disturubing, its buried misogyny to vote on this. Because I am fair, but also because I am a righteous fucking patriot.
04/4/2004Mr. Pony: Obviously, scoop, because you admit to feeling a certain way about something, it is most certainly informing and controlling your ENTIRE argument, as well as your mind. Your vote is obviously bullshit, and I officially reject it.
04/4/2004scoop: I call "ball covering" on you, you scalawag!
04/4/2004Mr. Pony: Then you are a feminist! You are Al Franken!
12/24/2004Shane Mahoney (1): I fail to see how this piece addresses the pressing issue of how we are moving forward in our application of the North American ideal of preservation and the stewardship of our vital natural rezources.
