The popularity of New York-based media gossip website Gawker.com is understandable enough. Its snarky, savvy commentary makes readers feel like part of the Manhattan smart set. What's befuddling is how the equally-if-not-more trenchant Gakwer.com remains largely unknown. This is the Internet's number one outlet for news and gossip about such diverse topics as Nike, hyperdunk, videos ardientes, Scientology Cruise speech, and a whole lot more. Gakwer may not have the fancy layout, attractive banner, or in-the-know commentariat of Gawker, but if you're looking for all the latest information on www putas com, all of that stuff is just frippery anyway, isn't it? www.gakwer.com... the one with the green, purple, brown, and blue squares! www.gakwer.com!

08/20/2008 Mr. Pony (5): While I do not think this short deserves perfect fives all the way down, I find it difficult to ignore my initial reaction, which was laughing, even though subsequent readings do not produce the same effect. Thus, my dilemma is this: shall I vote correctively, pushing this short's score to where I believe it should be; or do I vote my heart, in an affected vacuum? I know we have had this debate before, but I have no idea where I stood.

Leave all that philosophical baggage at home and travel light, two carry-ons preferably that fit ETC. If you feel like the short is a five give it a five! If you don't, then give it something else. If you feel differently later that's okay! What's important is achieving what Matza would call a "totally Meg Sirloinality" so that we can get on with the business of shorts. That's where I stood.
