09/9/2005Partytime (3.5): Morning glory seed ass shit.
Pictures are semi-gloss,
words are ceiling.
09/9/2005Ewan Snow (4): Mixed for me on this one. Liked the very last bit best, but felt some of the running joke was a bit eco-friendly, which is to say recycled (albeit recycled Matzaisms hence non-ripoff). Also it's not unlike the salesforce, which is to say it could have been trimmed. Even given all above important points, the short remained laughable, which is to say gigleworthy, ie. four stars!
09/9/2005Will Disney (4): not a very nice thing to say about mom and dad though.
09/9/2005The Rid (3.5): Pretty funny. Coulda been shorter.
09/9/2005Mr. Pony (4): Sweet octopus. Your use of gradients is particularly funny.
09/9/2005qualcomm: what's that blue scribble in the second quadrant of the first frame?
09/9/2005qualcomm: also, why don't the lines rhyme? shouldn't they rhyme?
09/9/2005Mr. Pony: qualcomm, how do you number your quadrants?
09/9/2005qualcomm: i'unno. you don't remember your quadrants?
09/9/2005qualcomm: oops, looks like i don't remember my quadrants correctly. author, what's that blue scribble in the fourth quadrant of the first frame?
09/9/2005anonymous: QC: you mean the briny oceanwater exploding over the seaweed-festooned rocks in a kaleidoscopic display of nature's munificence, right? My decision to forego rendering this awesome eruption with my customary realism in favor of a more impressionistic (nearly abstract) style was intended to underscore the themes of dislocation and loss that suffuse the piece.
09/9/2005Litcube (4): I totally knew what that explosion of blue was. Furthermore, this brings me closer to my conclusion that I actually understand, whereas, you dudes do not. Sweet Tim's pic [Creepy factoid: Moments prior to viewing this piece, I was on the verge of crafting my own Tim's themed short].
09/9/2005TheBuyer (4): Selfless 4.
