Grey pools of fog lay motionless on the cobblestone dungeon floor, flickering torchlight casting phantasms upon the jagged moss laden masonry of claustrophobic corridors. Axe in one hand, torch in the other, Bardic Durmagaine, battle hardened warrior, strode with purpose.
The cylindrical chamber opened up around the pedestal upon which the potion was perched, bathed in otherworldly luminance. Bardic, battle hardened warrior, grasped the vial in his bloodied hands and quaffed.
Instantly, Bardic became seriously awesome. In all his awesomeness, Bardic let slip through his fingers the empty vial in which the Potion of Awesomeness was previously held, as it shattered awesomely upon the stone floor of the dungeon. Awesomely, he turned around, and in a totally fucking awesome manner, headed to the dungeon exit.

07/25/2005Will Disney: So why did he become awesome, again?
07/25/2005anonymous: No such thing as Potion of Awesomeness. Maybe you should a) slay a red dragon (as if!), b) roll 2 d 10 for treasure, c) hope against hope that you get the Helm of Brilliance, d) wear it before ever commenting again!
07/25/2005Klause Muppet (3.5): Awesome!
07/25/2005Klause Muppet: Hey Author! I liked the "Bardic Durmagaine, battle hardened warrior" bit. This seems a little Monty-Hall though. A little far fetched. Ya' know?
07/25/2005TheBuyer: I thought Monty Hall was the host of Let's Make a Deal.
07/25/2005The Rid: Good idea. Execution is missing something, though.
07/25/2005qualcomm: maybe he meant a cross between monty python and kids in the hall.
07/25/2005TheBuyer (3): That would make a little more sense, I guess [monty hall].

07/25/2005Klause Muppet: Monty Python and Kid's in the Hall would be the best mix ever. But alas, that's not what I meant. *Sniff*
07/25/2005TheBuyer: What did you mean? 'Do' even, what 'do' you mean, you fucking crybaby?
07/25/2005Klause Muppet: Correct me if I'm wrong, avid D&Der's, but the label Monty-Hall is used when things are no longer taken seriously (i.e. physics, coincidence, and practicality within a fantasy setting). That’s what I meant… I wasn’t being serious though. I’m sure the author’s intent was to be “Kid’s in the Python”ish. Eh?
07/25/2005Klause Muppet: TheBuyer, you played with Alex, eh?
07/25/2005TheBuyer: Ya, the cardboard village where no one knew how to put out a barnfire and a half million monsters appeared out of the clear blue sky and wouldn't rest until they had destroyed all fifty of the villagers who were hiding nowhere near anything of value and were inedible because they hadn't eaten anything in a month but were still somehow worth sending the entire monster army after. That one kept me up at night from the realness of the whole thing.
07/25/2005TheBuyer: Also, I didn't play enough to know the M.H reference.
07/25/2005Klause Muppet: Espion is another name for it.
07/25/2005Litcube: I believe the term Monty Hall is used in reference to excessive rewards.
07/25/2005Klause Muppet: Oh! Litcube! I didn't see you there. Hello. Welcome.
07/25/2005Jon Matza: My favorite part is how awesome he becomes after drinking the potion.
07/25/2005Klause Muppet: Yeah, that part is pretty awesome.
07/25/2005Poop (4.5): Poop!
07/25/2005Mr. Pony (4): I have been there.
07/26/2005Klause Muppet: Been where, Pony? Where have you been?
07/26/2005Mr. Pony: Ha ha...you have a Canadian accent.
